Speaking on the development, Sikhululekile Moyo, Councillor for Ward 17, expressed appreciation for the project, emphasizing its significance for the community. “This is a community-driven initiative, and we are grateful that Haulin Quarry Mine is working with local youths to fix and maintain the roads. The rainy season had left the roads in a deplorable state, making it difficult for motorists and pedestrians. Their intervention has come at the right time,” Moyo said.

Samantha Ndlovu, a regular commuter in the area, praised the company for its efforts. “Driving through this stretch had become a nightmare due to the potholes. This rehabilitation work has made a significant difference,” she said.
